I think you're supposed to care because art can open our hearts in ways that journalism can't. And if our hearts aren't open, nothing will change.
the other day i over head two people arguing in a tim horton's... they each had different charity programs they supported and were having a debate over which one was the greater cause.
i just wanted to grab their heads and knock'em together.
i bust my ass trying to do what i can and honestly, even if everyone chipped in, it will take decades and decades before we see any massive change.
thats not an excuse to not do anything though, the fact is alot needs to be done in so many areas and EVERYTHING YOU DO HELPS.
i dont care if people donate to my causes, or if they have missions of their own: JUST DO SOMETHING.
and not just once.
