Dude, the full resolution photos that I pass you usually are in the Prophoto RGB colour space. If you are taking the full resolution files and rescaling them you should be sure to convert them to sRGB before saving them with a web-display intent. In Photoshop CS2 it goes something like this:

Edit > Convert to Profile > sRGB IEC61966blah and then hit okay. The sRGB colour space more closely represents how most computer displays behave and in software that doesn't recognize embedded profiles (like most web browsers), you want your source colours to be as close as your destination colours without any translation.

Umm yeah . . . that's why if you view the same web-sized photo in your web browser the colour swill look different but closer to how they were intended.

Hahah . . . since you've posted the photos, I am going to post something as well. :-P
